Mimi Dobbs
I am a graduate of Baylor University and Sam Houston State. I have been a middle school English and Reading teacher for 7 years and a school librarian for 10 years. My husband and two daughters and I all share a love of reading. When I'm not in the library or reading, I can be found watching my daughter play volleyball or walking our dog, Prim, a Corgi. (Yes, Prim is named after Primrose Everdeen from the Hunger Games.)

Jessica Duckworth
Hey everyone! My name is Jessica Duckworth and I am the District Library Media Specialist. This is my second year in this job and I absolutely love it. I have the privilege of getting to be on every campus and work with every teacher and student. That is without a doubt my favorite part of the job. Reading is my passion and my goal is to create spaces that kids want to be in and that they learn to love reading. I have a Master's degree from TAMU-Commerce and another from UT Arlington. Prior to this position, I taught 4th grade reading at ACW for two years. I have also taught 2nd grade at Commerce Elementary for two years and ran a grant based after school program at Cooper High School for five years. I am married and have three children: Emma, who's 15 and a Sophmore, Sam, who's 8 and in third grade, and Lillee, who is 6 and in first grade.
